DispatchReply is a service operated by Purple Peach LLC dba DispatchReply ("DispatchReply", "we", "us"). DispatchReply provides an automated text-back and appointment-booking service to home-service businesses (for example plumbers, HVAC companies, electricians, and roofers). This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what information we handle, how we use it, and the choices you have. We act on behalf of the participating business you contacted, and we handle your information only to help that business respond to you.
What data we collect
We collect only the information needed to respond to and service an inquiry that a person makes to a participating business. This includes:
- Phone numbers of people who call or text a participating business.
- Names provided by the person during the conversation or inquiry.
- Message content — the texts and inquiry details exchanged between the person and the business (for example, the type of job, the address or service area, and scheduling preferences).
This information comes from people who contact a participating business first — through a missed call or a web inquiry. We do not purchase contact lists and we do not collect information about people who have not reached out to a participating business.
How we use your data
We use this information solely to respond to and service the customer's inquiry on behalf of the business. Specifically, that means:
- Replying to the missed call or web inquiry by text message;
- Answering questions about the service;
- Qualifying the job (gathering the details the business needs); and
- Booking an appointment on the business's calendar.
We do not use this information for any other purpose.
We do not sell your data. Your information is not shared with third parties and is not used for marketing purposes. We only use it to help the business you contacted respond to your inquiry.
SMS messaging, consent, and opt-out
DispatchReply sends SMS text messages on behalf of the participating business you contacted. Consent to receive these messages is collected when you contact the business first — either by calling the business and providing your phone number, or by submitting the business's web form, which displays SMS consent language and a clearly labeled link to this Privacy Policy at the point of submission. Because the text-back is a direct response to your own inquiry, the messages you receive are service messages — such as appointment confirmations and service updates — and are never marketing or promotional.
No mobile data will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes at any time. The consent that arises from your initial contact is limited to servicing that inquiry; it is never used to send marketing messages, and it is never shared with or sold to anyone else.
You are always in control of the messages you receive. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from all further messages; we honor every opt-out request promptly. Reply HELP for support information. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies by interaction. SMS consent and opt-out preferences are kept confidential, are used only to control whether we may message you, and are not shared with third parties for their own purposes or used for marketing.
How long we keep data
We retain conversation information only as long as needed to service the inquiry on behalf of the business and to maintain accurate records of opt-out requests so that we continue to honor them. You may ask us to delete your information, subject to any record-keeping we must maintain to respect your opt-out.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we handle against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
